An Illuminating Story: I am Back to Where I was
Beside the beautiful Mexico beach, the sun is shining brightly and the breeze blows slightly. An old man with a pair of sunglasses on his face is lying on the sand, and enjoys the wonderful life with a serene smile. A fishing boat is up and down with the slight wave.
“Why do you launch out?” I ask.
“Why?” the old says.
“You are a fish man, are you? That is your boat?”
“Yes!”
“Look! Today is a good day and it is perfect for fishing.”
“Aha! Go on.”
“Ok! If you launch out, and you will get a lot of fish at this perfect day.”
“And then?”
“And then you can get a lot of money and buy a bigger and better boat!”
“Maybe, what is going then?”
“Easy! Then you can get more and more fish as well as more money! Of course! Then you can employ some guys working for you! ”
“But then what can I do?”
“Haw-haw! Already, are you out of time? You are just lying under the warm sun and enjoy life.”
“Young boy, look! What am I doing now? I am not just older than you. Always, people like you are busy for the whole life and never understand the meaning of life.”
I am just stunned. Laughing, “oh yeah! The people understand what he wants to do is the happiest one in the world.” I think. When I want to say some words to the old, he says suddenly, “And I am not out of the time. You see! This is my sunglasses which I bought in GlassesShop.com the day before yesterday and received this morning. I always try to catch up with the world.” with a big smile on his face.
I am laughing following him, but getting into deep thinking. I want to be a happy person, too. But what should I do? Looking back, my dream has been further and further. Oh yeah! I know what I will do. Now, I just come back to the place where I stood as a kid. I gain myself back.
