First, it is a must to knead the lenses by your hand. The scientists point out that kneading the lenses by clean hand is more useful than the machine and any kind of solutions to get away the bacteria and deposit. It is better to knead the lenses gently for about 30 seconds in total.
Second, change the contact lenses annually. Even if you do not use the contact lenses very often, it is also needed to change the lenses for they might be aging as time passed.

Third, it is better to have the same brand contact lenses solution. The different ingredients of different brand might cause some kinds of injuries to contact lenses.
Fourth, you have to know that there is a time limit for contact lenses solutions. Once the time limit is passed, you should not use the solutions again since they may be deteriorated.
Fifth, it is recommended to not keep contact lenses in the physiological saline which is unable to kill the bacteria but store contact lenses only. If the lenses are put in there, there will be bacteria in the lenses.
Sixth, change contact lenses container regularly, about three months. You can use the hot water to make container clean every week. Don’t put container in the bathroom for the wetness of the bathroom may bring mildew to it.
Seventh, if you feel uncomfortable in eyes, you may put off the contact lenses right now. There might be sands or dirt in your eyes. You can put them on when it is OK. For every possible condition, you can ask professional doctors for advice.
