Tips of Protecting Your Eyes
Eyes are one of the most important parts of our body without which we cannot see this colorful world. So we must treasure our eyes carefully. How to protect eyes in daily life? Here are some tips as follows. First, live a regular life. The scientific schedule, healthy organized life, enough sleep and the quality of sleep are all beneficial to protect your eyesight.
Second, balance the diet. Develop a good habit of eating, never being choosy in food or losing of appetite. Eat food which is rich of calcium and vitamin and take less sweet food. Young people should particularly pay attention to this.
Third, the lighting is important. For people who are always sitting up during the night or under dark environment, the lighting must be bright, soft and non-jumping. Don’t work or study under strong or dark environment as far as possible.
Fourth, don’t overuse eyes. After one period of short-distant eye-using, looking in a long distance or doing the exercises of eyes can relax your eyes. The appropriate distance of reading books is 30~40cm.
Fifth, avoid UV-ray. For those who are always working in the open air, travelling or having special jobs (computer operators or welders), a pair of suitable polarized sunglasses is very necessary.
Sixth, never depend on air-conditions too much although summer is hot. When you use air-condition, put a glass of hot water near your seat to increase the humidity in the air.
Seventh, eat a lot of fruits, especially citrus fruits, green vegetables, tangled grains, fish and eggs. Drink plenty of water every day to relieve the dryness of your eyes.
In a word, when we work, study and live, please always remember to protect our eyes. Once there is something wrong with the refraction, go to the formal and professional shops of glasses to have a check. If you are not pseudo-myopia, put a pair of suitable glasses to control the strength and improve the sightseeing.
