Ways to Make Your Eyes be Brighter
As the same as other organs, eyes degradation and weakness will gradually happen along with the increase of age or under the influence of other diseases. So how can we keep our eyes healthy? Here are some wonderful ways to protect our eyes, and maintain them bright.
1. “Ironing your eyesâ€. Before you get up or go to bed, do not finish the action quickly, just take the time. Sit on the bed or stand beside it, rub your hands palms with each other for about 30 seconds until you have a burned feeling in your hands. Then promptly cover your eyes with your palms for a while. After the hot feeling disappears, rub again, and then cover again. Do this for about 15 times every morning and every evening. This is good for blood circulation around your eyes.
2. Stand near the windows naturally, but you should keep 2-3 meters away from the windows. Both of your eyes watch four angles of the window clockwise in turn, then counterclockwise in turn. Repeat these movements for 7-14 times. Long-term of this exercise helps relieve your muscles around the eyes. And meanwhile, it can have good influence on improving your eyesight.
3. Apply a hot compress on both of your eyes for 15-20 minutes, once or twice every day. Or first, you can dip the compress into some boiled Chinese medicine, such as chrysanthemum, herb, bamboo leaves and mulberry. Then cover it on your eyes. Even when the medicine was boiling, we can “iron†our eyes with the evaporation. When the hot medicine water becomes mild, we can dip the compress into it, and cover it on our eyes. Do remember! You must do it again and again, not less than 15 times. Through this, you can clear away heat in your eyes and bright your eyes.
4. Pay much more attention to your daily diet. You should know how to choose fresh vegetables and how to match them. In addition, you should eat more vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins and trace elements. Eating kelp, carrots, celery, liver, etc. properly can do real good to our eyes.
5. When you get up, choose an open place with fresh air, stand straight naturally. And both of your eyes look at one goal, such as a spine or a mountain top at normal level. Keep this action for about 1-2 minutes, and then move your eyes from distant to a goal just about 1 foot away from you for 1 minute. Again move to the previous goal, and then come back. Do this for about 8 minutes every time.
6. Do not make your eyes expose in the strong sunlight or lamp light, not even watch TV or read books in bright sunlight. And when on summer trips, you should wear proper sunglasses to prevent our eyes from the harm it can do to our eyes.
